THE ANTELOPE VALLEY

Don Giovanni Vineyards is located in the newly established Appelation(AVA) Antelope Valley of the California High Desert. We are pleased to represent one of the newest vineyards in this region as a premier winemaking family with roots that originated from Italy. The high desert climate in this area(like in Italy) can consist of extreme daily temperature shifts at an elevation of 2300 FT above sea level. In many cases we can have daytime temperatures reaching over 100 degrees with nights that drop to near freezing.
