THE CALANDRI FAMILY NAME

Mark and Kathy Calandri Nelson are the proprietors at Don Giovanni Vineyards. The name Calandri originated from the small lark in Italy called the Calandra. The Calandra is also seen in our family crest, and used in our labels. As you enjoy a bottle of our wine, make a toast to all the farmers and wine makers in the world, for without them none of us would have the pleasure of enjoying these splendid spirits at our tables.
